But...how should you spend it? Let's talk about how I am planning on Black Friday shopping this year...it doesn't have to be stressful and crazy. It doesn't have to make you breathe into a brown paper bag. It doesn't mean you have to fight for a parking space, push someone over for a discounted sweater or cuss out a salesman...it can be peaceful...if you do it from the comfort of you own home and computer, with your jammies on, your cup of coffee, your list of people you love and your credit card. That's how I plan on Black Friday shopping!

I've also thought of a lot of tactics to my shopping and have decided the best way is for me to handle it one retailer at a time. I'm going to the retailers I trust, the ones with free shipping options, the ones with big sales right now and with sales on Black Friday, the ones with good return policies...the ones I trust the most.

So, here is what I'm loving from my favorite stores right now...these are things that I personally need for the holiday season and things I think will be great as gifts too. And there are sales, sales and more sales!

Right now is the perfect time to be shopping Gap! This is such a great sale (that ends tomorrow!) and you can find loads of gifts and a few extra pieces to make your Christmas season sparkle.

I'm going to go ahead and call the Guinness Book of World Records because this is the softest scarf EVER! There is no way on Earth anyone else could ever create a softer scarf. Period. It's epic. Buy one as a gift and then buy another one for yourself. Softest. Ever.

Next up on my Black Friday shopping...I want to show you one thing at Loft...

Yes. The perfect red coat. I just love it! I was wearing it the other day over my gym clothes and Erika kept going on and on about how cute I looked...and I was wearing my gym clothes and this coat! Then Narci saw me in it and said I should just put a picture of me on my Christmas card in this coat and forget about my family :). It comes in navy too but seriously...how can you not love the red?

In my opinion, you don't buy shoes for people anywhere but Nordstrom. Ever. Period. Just don't.

Buying shoes is a great Christmas gift but...you need to make sure there is a great return policy for the recipient. Have no fear...Nordstrom is here!
