You Knew Me When

At the end of June, I was approached to review this new book You Knew Me When by Emiy Liebert.  I'm going to be honest...I had no expectations for it.  The publisher sent me a copy and I threw it in my suitcase for our cruise along with 4 other novels.

About 10 days into our trip, I had already read 3 novels by big names like Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner and Emily Giffin.  I really only started reading this new book out of desperation and lack of options but oh my goodness!  It was actually my favorite!  I loved it so much that as soon as I got home, I passed it off to Erika to read too.

Without giving anything away, this is a great book about friendships, overcoming hurt feelings, going back home and finding yourself.  If you love books by Kinsella, Weiner and Giffin, I promise you, you will love this book too.  It has a great story line, depth of character, a little suspense, honesty and it's sweet all in one.

Because the main character is in the makeup industry, this seemed like the perfect collaboration!  Not only did I get a great book, but I have a great mani too!
