Our Scarf Exchange plus BIG news!

Before we get to our Scarf Exchange, I have two really big things to tell you this Monday!  First...

...is coming Friday!  You ladies have been telling me that my blog is often like a pj party for us grown-up gals, so beginning this Friday, I will host a monthly pajama party!  Each month, I'll have a special guest co-host and we'll dish about topics us ladies would chat about at a grown-up slumber party.  My co-host is FABULOUS this month, you won't want to miss it!

And second...

...on Wednesday morning, I will be cooking live on Good Morning Texas!  That's right, yours truly will be cooking up breakfast live on a food segment for GMT.  If you're local, tune in to watch, if not, I will post the link on Wednesday so you can watch the playback.

And now for the Scarf Exchange...

Scarf Exchange 2013

Scarf Exchange 2012

On Labor Day night, we had our second annual Scarf Exchange!

Last year, we decided to get together on Labor Day night and properly kick-off fall with a scarf exchange.  Pretty much, we all love Starbucks and we all love scarves, so we created a way to unite the two.  It was such a success that we decided to do it again this year.  And after I posted this pic on Instagram, you people went nuts over our little party!  Here's what we do...

1. We each purchase one scarf and bring it to the party (we do it at Starbucks) wrapped in a bag.

2. We don't really set a limit on how much to spend, but you totally could.  I think we all just kind of know what to spend, what others would like, etc.  But if you feel like a limit would help your group, then by all means, set one.

3. After we get to Starbucks and chat a few minutes, we each draw a number off of little strips of folded up paper (so you don't know which number you're drawing).  There were 9 on us ladies on this night, so we each picked a number randomly (I drew the number 4).

4. The #1 girl goes first and selects a bag.  Then the #2 girl can either "steal" the scarf off of the #1 girl (in which case, #1 girl selects another bag) or select a bag of her own.  Once a scarf has been stolen twice, it can no longer be stolen.

5. After the last girl (in our case #9) selects her bag, then the #1 girl gets to go one more time and is allowed to keep the original scarf she drew or swap with one other person.  And then it's over and everyone keeps the scarf they have.

At Christmas, some people call this White Elephant and swap Christmas ornaments or other gifts...we just do it with scarves.

And since we're talking scarves, I thought I'd show you some of my current faves...

I am flipping over this leopard and navy scarf!  It comes in several other colors too (orange, red, mustard and green).  How cute and chic is this?!?!

I also love this plaid scarf (also in two other colors).  This baby just screams fall and winter :).

I know some of you love camo and some of you hate it.  If you're one that loves it, this camo scarf will rock your world...if you don't love it, move on to my next option :).

I received a houndstooth scarf last year as a gift and wore it all the time!  This one comes in multiple colors too...but the traditional black and white is my favorite.

And if you need something cheery and happy this fall, I love the pink polka dot scarf from Gap.  It's just happiness!

I'm so happy you loved our scarf party, and I hope when you have one, you send me a group pic :).  It's such a blessing to have sweet friends to share these simple moments with.

I have such a great group of girlfriends!  As you can tell, we all faithfully read Sheaffer's blog and wear what she suggests!  There were 5 of her denim jackets, 2 pair of camo pants and 3 pairs of nude flats there that night :).

Thanks to Sheaffer introducing me to the perfect pair of flats, I now own my very own pair.  I love, love, love them!

Look at Kensington and me on Thursday.  I'm wearing my new pair of leopard flats (the first time in my life that I've ever worn flats!), and Kensington is wearing her new pair too.

You guys also probably know Andrea (the one holding sweet Griffin!), she is our design guru.  She blogs at Never Say Never and also has her own design business.  She is responsible for all of my party invitations, party banners and decorations, baby announcements, shower invites, Christmas cards, blog design and blog graphics.  I mean...she basically works on stuff for me 24/7!  You should also check out her design blog called Slightly Askew Designs.

Last year at the scarf exchange, Andrea surprised us with this onesie in her scarf bag!  And now this year, we have Griffin :).

Erika is the cutie on the end wearing the first pair of camo pants :).  Her kiddos Ebby Lee, Nixon and Bowen are in at least half of my photos.  I feel like they're mine!  Erika likes to do a little bit of everything on her blog.   She's currently fixing up her new house with some really creative methods and projects.  I have DIY envy for sure!  You can find her family at the Slaughter Family Blog.

Erika is going to join me tomorrow as we celebrate decorating our homes for fall!

My other friends have blogged off and on over the years but right now, none of them are actively blogging.

I am so blessed to call each and every one of them a friend.  You should wear a scarf today...and think of us :).

Don't forget to check out my latest edition of Meal Planning Monday today!

And the winner of my You Knew Me When book giveaway is...

Tracy (with a dog named Skip!).

I will be emailing you this morning to claim your prize.  Congratulations!

Have a great Monday!

Shay's Pajama Party: September with Kelly!

I am so excited for my first edition of Shay's Pajama Party!  Each month, a co-host and I will dish on certain topics pertaining to that month.  We'll talk food, fashion, holidays, mom life, and "me" time.  It's a slumber party for ladies!

September is all about diving into autumn, back to school, football, and fall fashion.

My very special co-host is...

That's right ladies!  Kelly from Kelly's Korner has put her jammies on, curled up in a sleeping bag, grabbed a large Sonic drink and is dishin' with me on all things September.

First up, how do we get our kiddos back in their school routine?
Kelly: We crack down on their bedtimes after a loose summer schedule.  I try to make back to school fun, so we have treats after school most days.

Shay: We get up, dressed and out of the house most mornings leading up to school (heading to the gym or to run errands).  It helps get us back into the routine of up, breakfast, dressed and out the door.

What do you do with the artwork and crafts your kids bring home?
Kelly: I am not a keeper!  I have a small bin that I keep special things in but I love the idea of taking pictures or scanning their artwork and putting it into a photobook book...I haven't done that yet-but I want to.

Shay: I keep a rotating assortment of things on the fridge and after I collect about 10 items, I start removing items and replacing it with the newest work.  A few very special things I save, but I get rid of everything else.  The kids see their stuff up on the fridge and rarely ever ask where everything else went.

What do you like to do when they're off at school and you have a few hours to yourself?

Kelly: I actually like to clean my house when I don't have little ones going around un-doing it!  I also LOVE to make lunch dates with friends!  It's the one time when we can have adult time and just visit.  It refreshes me!

Shay: I love to grocery shop!  It's amazing how much faster I can grocery shop without my kiddos with me...and how much less random items get thrown into my cart.  I also love to run errands and drink Starbucks when I'm by myself.

Both of us have our vices...and we're not ashamed to admit it.

Kelly & I made our Fall To-Do Lists together and oh my!  We have such similar lists!  It's such a shame we're a state away from each other!

Apparently, if you're not visiting a pumpkin patch, you're not doing fall justice in our minds!  We're both pretty pumpkin patch obsessed :).

Of course, we would talk food at a ladies' slumber party...especially fall food...

Favorite football watching snack:
Kelly: Chips, salsa, queso...really, any kind of dip!
Shay: I love dip too!  I'm pretty obsessed with spicy spinach dip right now!

Favorite fall dessert:
Kelly: Pecan Pie!  (She should try my Pecan Pie Bundt Cake!)
Shay: Any dessert with pumpkin in it!

Favorite fall supper:
 Kelly: Taco Soup
Shay: Sausage and Corn Chowder

Favorite slow cooker meal:
Kelly: A roast with potatoes and carrots
Shay: Chicken and Dumplings

Fall Fashion Trends are always a slumber party conversation...here's what we're both into this fall...

I bought my first pair of flat boots this season...and Kelly said that's one of her fall staples too!  I love my Steve Madden boots...especially the cute zipper detail up the back!

Now, Kelly is into cowboy boots...and I must confess, I have never worn a pair.  Ever.  And I'm from Texas.  Perhaps, I should give them a try?  Here are a few pairs that I kind of like (now that I'm actually looking at cowboy boots).  If Kelly says get some, I should probably get some!

I really like the color of these Born Boots.  I know they're not authentic cowboy boots...but they're cute and kind of hip!  I also like these boots too...

But if Kelly and I are being honest...I actually bought these boots last week...

I just love a wedge boot.  With gold studs.  That look super tough.  Maybe I can convince Kelly to buy some too?  That might be simpler than getting me into cowboy boots...

Before we wrap up our pajama party...I am going to ask each co-host the same set of questions.  Let's see how Kelly answered this month...

1. What is your favorite cosmetic?
Merle Norman lip pencil in Spice Sachet

2. What is your favorite beauty product?
My Chi Iron

3. What is your favorite TV show?
Mostly guilty pleasures like the Bachelor, Switched at Birth, Bravo shows and Duck Dynasty.

4. What is your favorite vacation destination?
Kauai, Hawaii!  But I also love Orange Beach too.

5. What is your favorite pair of shoes?
Boots!

6. What is your favorite nail polish?
Nothing!   I prefer my nails natural.  (We can still be friends even though Kelly doesn't wear nail polish...)

7. What is your favorite chick-flick movie?
Steel Magnolias

8. What is your favorite book?
Right now, I would say Sophie Hudson's book, A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet or Melanie Shankle's book Sparkly Green Earrings.  They are both dear friends and hilarious writers.

9. What is your favorite ice cream?
Cookie dough or Butterfinger but always Blue Bell

10. Who would star in a movie about your life?
Tiffani-Amber Theissan.  People always thought we looked alike when we were in college, and we both have daughters named Harper.

11. What is your least favorite household chore?
Cleaning the bathrooms!  Ugh!

12. What is one quirky fact that most people don't know about you?
I have never cried at a sad movie or chick flick but I bawl like a baby at sports movies.  EVERY TIME!  (How can a person whose favorite movie is Steel Magnolias never cry at chick flicks?!?!)

Thank you so much Kelly for putting your pjs on and coming to my pajama party!  I had the best time chit-chatting and getting to know you better.  I love that you love fall, football, good food and fashion...from one Southern girl to another, thank you so much!

You can find Kelly every day at her fabulous blog, Kelly's Korner.  You can also find her here too:

Next month, our pajama party will focus on Halloween...crafts, treats, costumes and more!

Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!

Shay's Pajama Party: October with Andrea!

It's time for another Pajama Party with me and a fabulous co-host.  This month is all about Halloween (food, crafts, decorations, and more!)...so, I had to pick the perfect co-host!

It's Andrea from Never Say Never (her family blog) and Slightly Askew Designs (her design blog).

A little background on Andrea...first and foremost, she is one of my very best friends.  She is this super energized mom of three kiddos, teaches junior high math (yuck!) during the day and has a creative and fabulous design blog that she does at night and on the weekends.  She is the creative force behind every single thing I do.  My blog designs, Andrea.  All of my graphics, Andrea.  My Christmas cards, Andrea.  Every birthday or party invite, Andrea.  My stationary, Andrea.  She is pretty much my full-time employee (on top of those other jobs she has!).

But...here are a few other facts about Andrea that you just might not know...
1. Her son Luke is marrying Kensington.  They discuss it all the time.  They act like it isn't even a big deal.  They've already named their future poodle together.  It's hilarious!

2. She is the BEST person when it comes to layering style!  The very best.  Andrea is layered to perfection whether it's January or July...this chick can layer by the pool people!  She's a layering genius!

3. When she's pregnant, she's super fiesty.  Watch out!  You do not mess with fiesty Andrea!

4. She is the only other person I know that pretends it's fall with me during the summer.  On a really hot and miserable day, we will both sit at home in the A/C with our sweats on, our fall candles lit, me drinking coffee and her drinking tea, pretending it's really fall outside (and not 110 degrees!).

5. She is the Queen of Halloween!

And because of Fact #5, she is the PERFECT co-host this month!

Take a look at Andrea's family in Halloween costumes past...
She doesn't just dress up her kids...no way!  Andrea and her sweet husband Dave dress up too.  They've been everything from a family of hot dogs, burgers and condiments to the Wizard of Oz cast (I mean, seriously...look at what a trooper Dave is?!?!).  They go over the top!

And look at these sweet Halloween pics from when our kiddos were babies.  Look how little Kensington is in both pictures!!  (And yes, that's Ebby Lee in the second picture standing next to Luke!).

And here are a few pics from the Shull family's previous Halloweens.

So, we're in our pjs, hanging out and talking Halloween...here's what we're saying...

What are our kids going to be for Halloween this year?
Me: Kensington is going to be a witch (because she basically just wants to walk around with a broom) and Smith is going to be Iron Man.  Again.

Andrea: We're going to be a family of bees.

(This is why you don't even try and compete with Andrea...my kids are a random mess and her entire family is going to be dressed as bees!)

When I press her for more family costume ideas, Andrea turns to Pinterest for some inspiration...

...seriously, what did we do before Pinterest???

What are our favorite Halloween traditions with our families?
Me: I love making Halloween treats with my kids in the kitchen and then taking them trick or treating around our neighborhood!

Andrea: I love it all!  Love decorating, dressing up, trick-or-treating, etc. But I think my favorite tradition is our Bible Fellowship group’s harvest party.  I love seeing the kiddos in their costumes, getting to hang out with all my besties and of course, getting to sample AMAZING crock pot soups and chilis.

Do we eat dinner before or after trick or treating?
Me: We always eat either chili or soup before we head out...and then we come back and fill up on candy!

Andrea: We usually get home from school, play for a while and eat dinner.  After dinner, we get dressed and ready to trick-or-treat!

What are some Halloween traditions you have with your family?
Me: The kids get their Halloween pjs each year on the day we decorate the house for fall (end of August).  They wear those jammies every night :).  We also eat off of Pottery Barn's cute little Halloween plates, we carve pumpkins, we take walks at night and look at everyone's Jack-o-lanterns and we make lots of yummy treats.

Andrea: Throughout October we carve pumpkins, do Halloween crafts, eat on our special Halloween plates all month, and visit the pumpkin patch.  On Halloween morning, I usually do something fun for breakfast like chocolate chip pancakes and after trick-or-treating we watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Now...let's talk about Halloween parties...Andrea is the Queen Bee (pun intended) of Halloween parties!  Take a look at a party she hosted two years ago...

...every little detail is perfect!  To see the entire post, click here and here..

I asked Andrea how she decorated her house for Halloween and she said, "over the top!".  Yup.  She even has a black Christmas tree with Halloween ornaments...

...her house is so fun and decked out but not too scary or gory.  To see her entire house decorated for Halloween, click here.  (And to see my house decorated for fall, click here.)

And of course, it wouldn't be one of my pj parties if we didn't talk about food!

Good food makes a Halloween party!  Here are some of our favorite treats to go along with your tricks...

Andrea's Mini Pumpkin Cream Pies are so yummy!  I have been known to eat them for breakfast!

My little Oreo Pumpkins are simple to whip up and super festive for Halloween!

And if you're looking for something savory to eat before you set out, check out these two recipes....

Andrea's Pulled Pork is the perfect slow cooker supper to enjoy prior to trick or treating!

And my Mexican Chicken Chili will warm you up before you head out too :).

Now, at every Pajama Party, I ask my co-host the same set of questions.  To see how Kelly answered these questions last month, click here.  These are Andrea's answers...

1. What is your favorite cosmetic?
I am SUPER low maintenance. I didn't wear ANY makeup until college (GASP!) and then it was mainly just mascara.  My very favorite cosmetic (and I’m not even sure if this qualifies) is Burts Bees Lip Shimmer.  It has enough color (for me at least), feels great and looks fantastic with a gloss over top.

2. What is your favorite beauty product?
I am going to seem like a TOTAL dweeb when I actually type this, but I LOVE Noxema face wash.  I use it every night and I love the smell, feel, tingle – everything.

3. What is your favorite TV show?
I watch way too much TV and I watch all kinds of stuff.  I’m a big fan of the Real Housewives (of anything!), love The Amazing Race and look forward to Scandal every week.  I “may” also be counting down the days until the return of Downton Abbey.

4. What is your favorite vacation destination?
I LOVE cold weather destinations.  I think my favorite vacation of all time was Banff, Alberta… but a close second was when we went to The Homestead when I was pregnant with Mason.

5. What is your favorite pair of shoes?
I have a thing for boots (cowboy boots, Hunter Wellies, Uggs, etc.) and my current favorite boot are by BedStu Cobblers.

6. What is your favorite nail polish?
This changes almost weekly, but right now my favorite is Fall Mood by Revlon.  It’s sparkly and goes well with the scarves and boots I’m starting to pull out of the closet.

7. What is your favorite chick-flick movie?
This is a tie between Father of the Bride and My Best Friends Wedding… oh, and Bridget Jones Diary J

8. What is your favorite book?
This may come as a surprise (Shay says I’m quirky – hahaha), but I love historical fiction by Ken Follett. Pillars of the Earth and World Without were AMAZING, I read Fall of Giants last fall and am currently in the middle of Winter of the World.  His books are BEASTS (like 900+ pages), but are sooooooooo well written.

9. What is your favorite ice cream?
The mint chocolate chunk from Ben and Jerrys.

10. Who would star in a movie about your life?
I’ve been told (by pretty much every middle schooler I teach) that I look like Carly Rae Jepsen… so, based on looks, I guess it would have to be her.  The other one I get a lot is Zooey Deschanel.  Pretty much anyone with long dark hair and bangs J

11. What is your least favorite household chore?
Hands down – putting away laundry.  I will wash, dry and fold clothes all day long… but I DESPISE putting them away.

12. What is one quirky fact that most people don't know about you?
This is a hard one because I’m a pretty open book about my “quirkiness”… but you might not know that in Middle School I was on a “Battle of the Books” team.  We had to read this long list of books and then compete against other teams to answer questions (and name the authors) about the books on the list.  It was super intense and competitive and we won the championship battle.  I looked for a picture of me wearing my oversized battle of the books t-shirt with the knot on the side and AWESOME glow in the dark glitter retainer holding our book trophy, but I couldn’t find one.  You’ll have to just trust me that it was amazing. J

It was Andrea many, many, many years ago that convinced me to buy a pair of Ugg Boots.  She told me over and over again that they were classic and would last a lifetime.  I bought them, I wore them, I love them.  Every time, I slip my feet into those cozy boots, I think of Andrea.

If you've never slipped into an Ugg Boot...you just don't know what you're missing.  To see these (and more) click here.

And since Andrea is such an awesome gal, she is giving away a fabulous prize on behalf of me and our other favorite friend Sheaffer...

That's right!  Two lucky winners will receive one set each of 50 double-sided Christmas cards!  This is a HUGE prize!!!  Sheaffer and I are obsessed with her Christmas card designs and want you to have some too!  Just look...

She does my cards every year!

(That's my parents' house!)

Her beautiful family (which now includes sweet Griffin Joy!).

And Erika's family (which now includes my little Bowen!).

Thank you sweet Andrea for being one of my very best friends!  I am so blessed by your creativity, your kindness, your sense of humor and the fact that you are always there for me.  I can't wait for our kiddos to marry and then we'll be family forever.  XOXO

Next month, I cozy up in my jammies to talk Thanksgiving with my favorite blue eyed bride...

Shay's Pajama Party: November with Erin!

I'm so excited to have one of my favorite bloggers co-hosting this pajama party with me today!  We're both Southern girls, we're both busy moms, we're both currently building homes, we're both obsessed with the holidays, we're both contributors on Every Day Cheer and we're both blue eyed brides...

Thank you so much Erin from Blue Eyed Bride for co-hosting with me today!  It's mid-November!  Erin and I are curled up in our pjs, drinking way too much coffee, eating something sweet, listening to Christmas music (don't judge...it's our party, we can listen if we want to...even though it's November!) and chatting about Thanksgiving and Christmas...

What are our favorite Thanksgiving traditions with our families?
Me: I love getting up on Thanksgiving morning, eating something yummy for breakfast and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with my kiddos.  I also love baking and cooking all morning long with Kensington.

Erin: I love being with my mom.  Waking up early and getting a head start on cooking.  Watching the Today Show and getting ready for the parade.  Every year after Thanksgiving dinner, we watch Home Alone and Christmas Vacation to bring in the Christmas season, officially!

Two of my family's favorite movies too!

Where do you eat your Thanksgiving meal?
Me: This year, we're eating Thanksgiving dinner (or lunch actually) at my mom's house.  It varies year to year, but this year, it's at Lovie's.

Erin:  This year, we'll be at my parents' house in Indiana. Last year, we were at my brother's house in Vail and stayed in a beautiful mountain home.  (Insert me being very jealous of Erin!)

Erin's 2012 Thanksgiving with her family

My 2012 Thanksgiving with my family

How do you prepare for hosting a large party (like Thanksgiving)?
Me: I plan ahead!  I write down everything I'll need (including paper towels, napkins, etc) several weeks beforehand.  I shop early (because you always forget something, so shop early and take inventory!), and I keep a really good list.  My favorite tip is to prepare big dishes (like casseroles and sides) in disposable pans.  Who wants to clean up baking dishes after Thanksgiving?  Not me!  This makes cleanup a cinch!  And never be ashamed of getting help from the store (pies, rolls, etc.).

Erin: I don't stress out!  I make a list, I do all of my grocery shopping before my company arrives, if they're spending the night with me, I make sure my house is already clean, and I make sure all of the serving pieces are located.

Now...let's talk about Christmas.  I know it's November but Christmas is already on so many people's minds!

When do you decorate for Christmas?
Me: I decorate mid-November.  This year, I decorated on the 12th (pics to come!).  It's a lot of work decorating for Christmas, so I want to soak up as many minutes of it as I can!
Erin: I usually decorate after Thanksgiving on December 1.

When do you start listening to Christmas music?
Me: The better question is when did I ever stop?  I really could listen 365 days a year.  But...I start listening every year right after Halloween!  (Click here to see my post on Christmas music!)
Erin: Ha!  I listen to Christmas music year-round.  It's really crazy, if a song is on my i-Pad or i-Phone and it comes on, I don't change it.  I love Christmas music!  I intentionally start listening Thanksgiving Day. (Click here to see Erin's post on Christmas music!)

I kid you not...Erin and I both blogged about Christmas music this week...on the very same day!  We are two peas in a Christmas music-loving pod!

Speaking of peas in a pod...
...Erin also loves the Gap supersoft tee that I have been raving about!  People...it's the BEST tee you will find this season.  Period.  End of story.  Look no further.  Click here to see the other colors too!  And PS: everything at Gap is on sale right now

OK, let's list some of our Christmas traditions...
Me: Watching every Christmas movie we can get our hands on (twice), driving around and looking at lights, drinking hot chocolate, going to the mall to see the ice skaters and Santa, lots of walks all bundled up at night, and plenty of time cuddling on the couch looking at our tree.  We also love attending the special Christmas services we have at our church and sharing the message of Christ's birth with our kiddos.
Erin: We love Christmas movies, wearing Christmas pajamas, sitting by the fire, sipping something hot, driving around and looking at Christmas lights, attending our church choir's Christmas performance, building a gingerbread house and doing an Advent calendar together as a family to help bring our kids back to Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas.

This house cracks me up.

Now, at every Pajama Party, I ask my co-host the same set of questions.  To see how Kelly answered these questions in September, click here, to see Andrea's answers from October click here and here are Erin's answers...

1. What is your favorite cosmetic?
The best concealer ever, Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer.  I truly believe it's God's gift to women ;).  I am also obsessed with Dior's eye pallets.  The pigment is so strong and it lasts all day.

2. What is your favorite beauty product?
I love Aveda Brilliant spray to detangle and condition my wet hair. I've also recently become obsessed with Aquage Uplifting Foam.  Love!

3. What is your favorite TV show?
Of all time?  Friends or Friday Night Lights.  Right now, we love Homeland, Scandal, Parenthood, and Nashville.  I love TV.  A lot.

4. What is your favorite vacation destination?
We love Isle of Palms, South Carolina and staying at Wild Dunes.  It's a great family-friendly spot.

5. What is your favorite pair of shoes?
My Tory Burch Revas.  They are so comfortable on my long and narrow feet.

6. What is your favorite nail polish?
I love OPI gel manicures and my favorite is Lincoln Park After Dark.  I love fall colors!

7. What is your favorite chick-flick movie?
Father of the Bride.  Hands-down.  I weep when I hear the theme music.  I absolutely love this movie.

8. What is your favorite book?
I loved The Help and I also love Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers.  I could read it once every year.

9. What is your favorite ice cream?
Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby

10. Who would star in a movie about your life?
I'm going to say Rachel McAdams.  Not because I think we look alike -not at all- but because I really love her and would want her to play me.

11. What is your least favorite household chore?
I think everyone can agree that potties are the worst, so other than potties, I hate doing dishes.  Really, really hate it.

12. What is one quirky fact that most people don't know about you?
I am constantly quoting movies or busting into song.  I am a musical theater junkie and grew up listening to music constantly.  So, I will just burst into song as soon as it pops in my head.  I should be on the set of Glee.  I also have to sleep in long pants and long sleeves.  And I love Dateline NBC.

Thank you so much Erin for co-hosting my Pajama Party with me!  You are precious both inside and out!  To see more of Erin, check out her blog Blue-Eyed Bride or find her here too...

And because Erin mentioned her love of pajamas twice today...I thought I'd show you some that would be perfect for your next pj party (or your next Monday night...).

I am obsessed with these flannel pajamas!  Wouldn't Erin look adorable in them?!?!  They come in 10 different fun patterns...perfect for the holidays!  I really want the macaroon ones!!

I'm also totally loving these thermal pjs too!  They come in 4 different patterns...wouldn't you feel comfy and cute wearing these all curled up by the fire?!

And as for me...I will be buying at least two pairs of these fleece pants.  I don't know about you, but when I get home at night, I put my comfy pants on ASAP!  These fleece pants are so soft and comfy...look for several posts in the near future of me wearing these cozy pants!

That's it for Friday!  On my foodie blog today...
