Kensington's Bistro

Kensington's 4th birthday party was a French Bistro theme.  We had brunch at my house with the family.  The weather was cool, the food was excellent and the company fantastic.  We all gathered together 4 years ago and celebrated her birth, and now, we gathered on her big day and celebrated her big birthday.  We love you Kensington!

Austin and Brooke brought their new puppy Cupcake  This is K eyeing her thinking, "hmmm...I wonder if they'll let me keep her...".

Grandmother, Mom (in her I heart Paris shirt) and me in my c'est bon shirt!

Grandmother and Sean (he's pretty handsome...he should be on TV...)

Where's my brunch?

The best pic with the birthday girl...she's still holding that puppy and giving such a big "cheese" that her eyes are closed.

Papaw with Poppy, Cupcake and Lily...I like this pic because you can see her cute Poodle and Eiffel Tower outfit from Janie and Jack.

Lovie and Papa Jay just spent 2 weeks in Paris and brought Smith back this shirt for the party.  It was perfect!

Love my dad!

Here's to another great year!  We love you Kensington Kate!

Kensington and Carter's Birthday Bash

This is Kensington and Carter when they were just about 3 weeks old (Carter is 5 days older then Kensington)...

...and this was them on Monday celebrating their 4th birthdays together!

To say time has flown by would be a HUGE understatement!  When Sheaffer and I met, we were both newly, newly pregnant and didn't know each other from Adam...now 4 years later, I probably talk to Sheaffer 3,506 times a day (a rough estimate but pretty close).  Sheaffer and I are both hosting family birthday parties this year, so we took the lazy mom approach and just rounded up the usual suspects to meet us at McDonald's for lunch, cake and gifts.

We love you Carter Sims!  You are such a sweet, sweet friend to us.  Thank you for sharing your birthday with us.  We hope for many, many more with us in the future!

Party! Party!

My mom's birthday was the 12th but we weren't able to celebrate it until this last weekend (lots of craziness in-between!).  I just love my mama XOXO.

Happy Birthday to Me :)

October 25 was my 31st birthday :).  It was such a special day...one of the very best.  I will blog all about that later...
Lucky me, we celebrated at my mom and dad's house on Saturday and I was able to have another special day.  I just love my family.  Love them!

Me and sweet Paisley!  I so wish her parents would just give her to me.  I would take her home and raise her as my own in an instant!

My hubby!  XOXO

I am so blessed and grateful for my family.  I had both sets of grandparents there, cousins, and aunt and uncle...lots of love.  I was just missing one person...but I know he loves me too and wishes he had been there :).

Smith's birthday dinner

We asked Smith what he wanted to do on his actual birthday (which was on Friday and his little family party was on Saturday), and he said "eat at Cheesecake Factory with Nixon".  Andrew and I were super happy about that decision!  First, we love the Cheesecake Factory and second, we love Nixon's mama and daddy, so it was win-win for everyone!  A very random choice for a 3 year old but a brilliant one according to this mama.

Waiting for our table...he's deciding which cheesecake he would be having.

He picked the Ultimate Oreo Cheesecake!

Super happy 3 year old!

Sister and Daddy

The Slaughters were so sweet and brought party hats and party horns to celebrate!

They also brought sweet baby Bowen!

Ebby Lee and Kensington deep in conversation!

The waiters brought over Smith's cake and sang to him.

Kensington's blowing out the candle while Smith sits back in amazement of his cheesecake :).

My kids favorite part of the night...when Ms. Erika let them hold baby Bowen.  Kensington loves this baby!

Look at Smith's face!  He can hardly wait for it to be his turn!

The perfect way to end his birthday :).

Thank you Tab, Erika, Ebby Lee, Nixon and Bowen for celebrating Smith's birthday with us!  You make our lives so special!  XOXO
