Happy Birthday Andrew (part 2)

Last weekend (I know...I'm behind), we celebrated Andrew's birthday yet again (we celebrated his actual birthday in Disney World here).  This time, we had dinner at Bucca di Beppo and then dessert at Mom and Dad's house.  The whole crazy gang was there...well...almost all of us...

It's a bride sandwich!  One month to go!!

Three lovely generations :)

And this year, Andrew requested my mom make something cookie dough-ish with chocolate.  Thankfully, she's the Mix and Match Mama's Mama, so she had no problem whipping together cookie dough brownie bars and raspberry lemon bars (recipes to come soon).

Happy Birthday love!

Memorial Day Fun!

This Memorial Day, we had a swim party over at Papa Jay and Lovie's house with the Slaughters.  We always have so much fun with the Slaughter Crew!!
Me, Erika and Baby Slaughter on the way...boy or girl...I'm thinking girl.

And the best thing to eat during and after a swim...why my Skinny Girl Margarita bundt cake, of course!

Happy Swim Season!

Brooke gets married!!

On Saturday, May 26, my little cousin Brooke married her boyfriend of 10 years Austin Bennett.  (They were 12 when they started dating...isn't that sweet?!)  If you know my family, you know we like any reason to have a party (and cake), so this wedding has been a huge deal for us.  My grandparents have 4 grandkids and we are all 4 so close.  We're like siblings.  Now 3 out of the 4 are married...only one to go...
The morning before the wedding, Mom, Grandmother and I hosted the bridesmaids brunch at the Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas.

The day of the wedding!  The sweet flower girl Kensington!!

My mom did her hair...thank you Pinterest for ideas :).  That's all her hair...no hair piece.

The ceremony and reception were at The City Club in downtown Dallas.  Dad (who officiated), me and Sean.

Love him!

Love him too!

My kids danced and danced and danced.  They loved the reception!

The 4 grandkids (and Austin)

I'm so proud of my sweet cousin Brooke! (Who now gets to be Brooke Bennett instead of Brooke Higginbotham...reason enough right there to marry the boy!)

Come on mom, let's dance.

I had 4 pieces.  Yes.  You read that correctly.

Trouble.  That's all I have to say.  These two are trouble.  Blue eyes, dimples...ladies, watch out.

The 4 Shulls danced the night away.

I didn't have any pictures from the ceremony because I was in the wedding.  However, my kids did so great!!  Smith was precious standing next to Papa Jay, the officiant, and Kensington was the sweetest little flower girl.  Such a blessed day for our family!

Fun on the Fourth!

You know my super fun family...we love any reason to celebrate (and eat!)!  Yesterday, we headed over to Lovie and Papa Jay's for our annual Fourth of July party with the fam.

Lovie bought Smith a water gun...this is his "I'm going to get you" face.

My little swimmer!  She swims like a fish!  I'm so proud of my sweet girl!

Birthday season has begun!

Yay!  It's officially birthday season for our family :).  Every single person in my family has a birthday between August 1 (one grandpa) and April 8 (another grandpa).  And we celebrate everyones birthday.  Everyones.  We have several birthdays that are 3 or 4 days a part and we still have two separate parties for each person (twice the cake!).  We love celebrating birthdays!  On Friday night, we kicked off birthday season with Ken's birthday at my mom's house.

Ken and Me :)

K and Uncle Seanie (She sobbed and sobbed when we wouldn't let her go home with him and spend the night.  We promised her that next time she could.  These two are such a mess sweethearts together.

It's really hard to pose 1, 2, and 3 year olds!  Here they all are!

Happy Birthday Ken!  We love you!  Next up, August 9 we celebrate Casey's birthday :).  I just love birthday season.

Happy Birthday Casey!

On Friday night, we celebrated Casey's birthday.  Like I said before, it's birthday season people...prepare yourself.

At first, I had my uncle take this picture of me and sweet Paisley, but then I decided to spice things up a bit and take pictures of the guests with me by myself instead...after all, it's my camera, my blog, my memories of the party...I should be in all of the pictures, right?  I think so. (Oh...and excuse the blah background of the pic above...my mom is remodeling my aunt's foyer and dining room and well, it's blah right now as they pick paint colors, etc.)
