#shayeveryday2014 Week 6

Day 36: I was invited to speak at a MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers) on this day.  I had such a fun time visiting with these sweet ladies and sharing a little about myself and what I do in life.

And on a side note, many of you asked on Instagram where my outfit was from...click here for the polka dot top, here for the jeans and here for a like version of the boots.

Day 37: We woke up on this Thursday morning to snow!  That calls for hot cocoa and snuggle time before school.

Day 38: We had lunch and played at the mall with some sweet friends.  Love these kiddos and their mamas!

Day 39: Kensington got a much needed haircut!  It looks so fresh and bouncy now :).

Day 40: True love.

Day 41: We spent this really cold afternoon inside making Valentine's for our friends at school.  (Kensington mentioned several times that her name was just too long...)

Day 42: I had lunch and pie with one of my very best friends Andrea.  She's a busy working mama of three who teaches middle school math...so needless to say, she doesn't often get a yummy lunch, pie and Shay every day for lunch.  We had such a good time together!  And yes, we're both wearing the same earrings...because we both love them so much :).

And one more busy mama that I love is Big Mama.  Girls...if you haven't read her new memoir on marriage, you are missing out!  This book literally had me laughing so hard that a security guard at Sean and Catherine's wedding stopped me and asked what was so funny.  Yes.  I was making a scene with my laughter.  It's the perfect winter read whether you're married or not.

Another quick thing...I have been keeping my eye on this light weight sweater at Gap after so many of you emailed me about how I need 1 or 2 or 3 of them because they're so perfect.  Well, this morning, they were put on sale, so I went ahead and got 2 (navy and caramel).  I'm thinking it's the perfect sweater for spring...we could style it like this...

...check it out!  It comes in 10 colors and according to many of you, I need all ten :).  By the way, if you're looking for leopard flats, you know how much I love mine...and they're still available!

And don't forget to check out my foodie blog today...
...I have some easy Valentine's Day desserts for you!

And I also have yummy Pesto Meatballs too!

XOXO
