On the 9th Day of Christmas: I showed you how I hang all of those Christmas cards!

On the 9th Day of Christmas, I showed you how I hang my Christmas cards!

But first...

I just love, love, love Origami Owl's jewelry!  Their lockets are so cute and personal...and now, they come as bracelets too!!  This is totally up my alley!  If you don't know how Origami Owl works, click here to see.  So fun, so creative, so original, and so unique!

Make sure you enter the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win!

Now...another Shull family tradition...

This is not earth shattering...but, it's a Shull family tradition and thus, I will share it with you!

Every year, when we get our Christmas cards, we tape them on our kitchen cabinets and pantry door...

...by the end of the year, we have them covering all of the cabinets and the pantry door.  I love doing this because every single time I open a cabinet, I see my friends' sweet faces.  I also love that it instantly makes my kitchen feel more festive.  I use Scotch tape and fold it over and stick it on the back and the paint is never damaged.  If you don't know what to do with your cards, I suggest hanging them :).

And can you believe it's Week 49 of the year?!?!  Here are my #shayeveryday2013 pics from Week 49!

Day 337: I hosted my annual recipe exchange!  This is my favorite party during the year!

Day 338: As we were getting out of the car, they asked if they could wrestle...I said no...and so they said they would just "hug really hard".  I can't win.

Day 339: I spent the day in my office while the kiddos were in school.  Starbucks Red Cup, lit candle, cozy blanket, Christmas lights, Michael Buble's picture, cookbooks, travel books and carols on my radio...one happy girl.

Day 340: We had our first snow day of the season!  We stayed in, watched movies, made cookies, and played in the snow!  Such a wonderful day!!

Day 341: We got out in the snow and ice and visited Lovie...Kensington Cottage looked so pretty covered in snow! (And I know you're going to ask...a close family friend...who is now retired...custom built the house for my parents.)

Day 342: We stayed in all day until it was time to run up to church to get ready for Christmas Journey!  We were happy to get out for a bit and see our friends.

Day 343: We made our annual trip to see Santa!  Such a fun evening!!

Today, my gift ideas comes out of the kitchen!  I love giving the gift of baking ingredients.  Click here to see my Cranberry-Chip Cookie Gifts.  This is always such a fun gift to give and receive!

Also, now is the time to stock up on some of your favorite cooking and baking items.  Want to know which bundt pan I use to make all of those bundt cakes?  (And I have literally made hundreds of bundt cakes.)  It's this one right here...
I bought this bundt pan over 10 years ago and have used it hundreds of times...and I run it through the dishwasher after every use.  This thing is the perfect bundt pan...and it's under $20.  Give this to someone along with your favorite bundt cake recipe!  (I'm sure you can find one you love out of my 100!).

And right now...

...you can get you a bundt pan or anything else from Williams-Sonoma with free shipping!

One last foodie related gift today...on Tuesday night, we hosted our office Christmas party at a restaurant and for fun, I decided to pick up some cake balls at a local bakery (and because I was suuuuuper busy that day!).  Well...they were flippin' fabulous!  Afterwards, I tweeted them and told them how divine their little cake balls are and they decided to be super generous and offer a coupon code for my readers.  How fun is that?!?!  This bakery ships and they said there is still time to ship some to you for Christmas!  We had the Birthday Cake, Cookies &Cream and Red Velvet ones...and they were so yummy!  Click here to visit this little slice of heaven and use coupon code Shay10 for your 10% off!

Today, when you're thinking about gift giving, think about the foodie in your life.

And our elf...

Smith was so excited about this day!  He loved seeing his tree with his undies hanging on there...that elf of ours is sure up to no good sometimes!

Today's recipe is for the coconut lovers!  Instead of German Chocolate...it's German White Chocolate...like little snowballs for your Christmas dessert.
