#shayeveryday2013 Week 1

I've decided to take one picture a day in 2013 to document my life...sometimes, it will be a picture of my kids...sometimes, it will be a picture of an object...just something a day to remind me of that day in 2013.  If you want to keep up daily, follow me on Instagram at mixandmatchmama.  Every week, I'll document the last 7 days here on the blog and at the end of the year, I'll have 52 posts with all of my days.  I told you...2013 is going to be my year ;).

Day 1: the year started off with my kiddos

Day 2: me and K in our jammies

Day 3: Kansas State played in the Fiesta Bowl...had to wear my purple that day!

Day 4: Date night with my family (one of these days, I'll take a picture with Andrew!)

Day 5: Spending time with my family...I love my dad!

Day 6: Heading to church

Day 7: My brother stars in the Bachelor tonight!  Who would have thought 18 months ago when Andrew and I were submitting his name for the Bachelorette that we would end up here...I am so proud of him.  

#shayeveryday2013 Week 2

It's week 2 of Shay Everyday!  You can follow me each week on Instagram #shayeveryday2013 under @mixandmatchmama.  I know what you're thinking...can she really keep this up all year?  I think so.  After all, I am the girl who is 73 bundt cakes into her goal of 100.  I'm a pretty committed gal :).

Day 8:  On Tuesday, I dropped off my kiddos at preschool school after them being on winter break for two weeks.   I was kind of sad...the backseat of my car was awfully quiet.  I always miss those two when they're not around.

Day 9: It rained!  Thank goodness Lovie had bought them umbrellas the day before!

Day 10: After 7 years, we decided to put our home on the market.  If it sells before our new home is finished being built, we're going to rent.  This is the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.

Day 11: Date night with my sweetheart!  We met some sweet friends for dinner while Joanna babysat.  Such a fun night!

Day 12: Brunch with my girls.  We're best friends (Plus Grandmother! Don't worry Grandmother...you're a best friend too!).

Day 13: At church with my Kensington.  Shortly after this photo...the wheels came off the wagon.  Kensington had a major meltdown and Smith had an accident in his pants.  (Sigh) The life of a mommy.

Day 14: In their pjs, ready to watch the Bachelor.  They love seeing their Uncle Seanie on TV!!

Day 15: We woke up to snow!  This is NOT common in North Texas, so we were all a bit surprised and very happy to see it :).

Day 16: Baking with my girl

Day 17: My last day as a mom to a 2 year old :(

Day 18: Happy 3rd birthday Smith William!

Day 19: Time to P-A-R-T-Y!

Day 20: Heading to church

Day 21: Teaching my sweet girl how to bread chicken.  She did 4 all by herself :).

Day 22: Maintenance!

Day 23: Sweet Andrew took my car to get the oil changed which meant I was stuck driving this car around all day.  Not cool driving around with your hubby's face on the side of the car! :)

Day 24: Like mother, like daughter.  My sweet girl loves bangles too!

Day 25: He'll always be my baby

Day 26: Heading out to shop with my little fashionista

Day 27: My sunshine

Day 28: I took my sweeties to brunch with Sheaffer and Carter.  And yes, I bribed them with gum to get them to kiss...at some point, that's not going to work any more...

Another week of Shay Everyday... 

 Day 29:  a trip to the dentist

Day 30: I wore a little extra something to the gym that morning :)

Day 31: we took a road trip to Missouri!

Day 32: Andrew's parents live on a farm

Day 33: city girl gone country

Day 34: we watched the Super Bowl with some of our favorite people!

Day 35: we began packing...the kids loved the bubble wrap :)

Day 36: Me, Starbucks, Target...happy place.

Day 37: my handsome boys at dinner

Day 38: While packing, I opened up the box that has my wedding dress preserved.  It's hard to believe it's been 9 years!

Day 39: My sweet friend Narci dropped off goodies for my kids to keep them entertained while I packed.  Sweet, sweet friend!

Day 40: We stopped for a Starbucks break while moving the first wave of stuff out of our house.  Chores are more tolerable when I'm highly caffeinated! 

Day 41: Sunday afternoon snuggles with my girl

Day 42: I was on TV that day...in case you didn't know ;).

#shayeveryday2013 Week 7

Day 43: I was live in studio with the fabulous Kidd Kraddick

Day 44: dinner with my little brother

Day 45: On Valentine's Day, me and my sweetie officially sold our home.  This was us at our closing.  After 7 years, we said goodbye and started the next chapter.

Day 46: The kids and I started moving a few things into the new rent house (the house that we're building should be complete by the end of the year!).  The kids stayed in their pjs all day and we had a picnic on the floor in the empty house.

Day 47: Moving Day!!  We moved everything into the new house...Lovie brought jumbo chocolate cookies to keep our energy levels up :).

Day 48: In the drive-thru picking up lunch.  Thanks to the move...no time for a home cooked meal on this day.

Day 49: My new morning view.  Monday morning was our first real morning in our new rent house.  I came down the stairs (I've never had stairs before!) and saw this view in the family room.  Two kids, two blankies, one giant stuffed animal and bowls of Cheerios...we're home (for now...).

 Day 50: At Good Morning Texas right after my segment aired.  I'll be on every Tuesday following a Bachelor episode.

Day 51: I love my little people :)

Day 52: It was a Welly kind of day...very rainy and cold.

 Day 53: Shopping with Sheaffer...at Loft (of course!).

Day 54: Sheaffer and I got to meet the three best bloggers in the world (seriously...they are!).  Boo Mama, Big Mama and Kelly's Korner were so sweet to hang out with us for a moment during their Dot Mom conference.  I've loved these ladies for years via their blogs, but now I love them even more because I've met them and I realize they are as sweet and wonderful in person as they are on their blogs. (Giveaway details below!!)

Day 55: time for church

Day 56: My lunch date with these four kiddos...at the glamorous McDonald's.
